In the warmer seasons, ice cream cravings kick in as the body begins to crave cooler foods.

Traditional ice cream typically contains processed sugar, inflammation-producing pasteurized dairy, and artificial ingredients and preservatives that do not belong in the body. [1]

Ice cream also spikes your blood sugar, which then spikes your cortisol (stress hormone) and insulin (fat storage), causing imbalanced hormones, weight gain, and mood issues. [1]

This easy-to-make peach ice cream is the perfect way to enjoy a cold treat while providing your body with antioxidants and fiber at the same time!

Benefits of Peach Non-Dairy Ice Cream

Peaches – Peaches offer a rich treasure of minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorous, zinc, and copper, which aid in hormonal balance and energy production. [2]

Peaches are also a great source of vitamins A and C, which are essential for skin health. Vitamin A provides moisture to the skin, improving the skin’s texture by making it soft and supple. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from free radical damage. [2]

Almonds – Almonds are full of healing fat and fiber that stabilize blood sugar, leading to weight loss and hormonal balance. Almonds are also high in antioxidants that can protect your cells from oxidative damage, a major contributor to aging and disease. [3]

Another thing that sets almonds apart is their high levels of magnesium. Magnesium is a mineral involved in more than 300 bodily processes, including blood sugar control. [3]

Consuming almonds can potentially lower blood sugar levels, reduce blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels. They can also reduce hunger and promote weight loss. [3]
