Mornings can be stressful, so why add to that stress by eating sugar and carbs for breakfast when you can just drink a nutritious breakfast instead? The most common mistake people make during breakfast time is eating foods that are processed and loaded with sugar such as, muffins, waffles, cereal, toast, and bagels. This could mess with your metabolic rate, energy levels, blood sugar levels, and can ultimately weight gain. But there’s a better way to start your day that’s no less convenient!
With smoothies, you are using natural and unprocessed ingredients that are filled with a variety of nutrients, protein, and energy providing vitamins and minerals. You can prepare your smoothie ingredients the night before, or even chop and freeze a week’s worth of ingredients so that when you wake up in the morning all you have to do is blend them! Use this mason jar blending hack from the video below to make your mornings even easier. Without the need to pour all of your ingredients into a blender, you’ll be out the door in the blink of an eye.
