Whether you are a grinch or a Christmas die hard, its hard to argue against some good Christmas recipes. Because ’tis the season for food.

Whilst I am all for indulging in your not-so healthy Christmas faves (because Christmas only comes around once a year), the post too much turkey and Christmas cake bloat isn’t the best feeling. So here are some of my fave recipes that are just as tasty as your faves but come with less bloat-factor.

Cacao and Peppermint Trifle

This is not your average trifle that nan brings to Christmas lunch. With chocolate and peppermint it’s like a candy cane and chocolate ice cream mixed together in the best way possible.

Leftover Turkery and Stuffing Salad

There always seems to be some sort of leftovers hanging around after Christmas day lunch, so why not throw it together in this delish salad for the gift that keeps on giving.
